I have made some tests on the quality of my reloading and precisely I have valued two series of blows:Ho effettuato alcuni test sulla qualità della mia ricarica e precisamente ho valutato due serie di colpi:

a first series has been obtained when there were drawing a cartridge each 8 produced by the pressing during a normal assemblage. For normal assemblage I mean the settlement purpose of the quantity dust each 20 produced blows, cases cleaned with anchor the old trigger and no selection on the real weight of the ball and on the characteristics of the case.una prima serie è stata ottenuta prelevando una cartuccia ogni 8 prodotte dalla pressa durante un normale assemblaggio. Per normale assemblaggio intendo l’aggiustamento fine della quantità polvere ogni 20 colpi prodotti, bossoli puliti con ancora il vecchio innesco e nessuna selezione sul peso reale della palla e sulle caratteristiche del bossolo.

a second series has been instead obtained at the end of the assemblage of the first 90 blows (system presses already orderly), using well-considered cases (57.0 /-0.2 wheats), with court of blaze not too much decentralised (cases GFL), seat I trigger clean (before the cleaning there has taken place in fact the double passage that foresees before the cleaning the removal of the old trigger), balls selected in weight (124.0 /-0.1 wheats).una seconda serie è invece stata ottenuta al termine dell’assemblaggio dei primi 90 colpi (sistema pressa già assestato), usando bossoli pesati (57.0 /-0.2 grani), con foro di vampa non troppo decentrato (bossoli GFL), sede innesco pulita (prima della pulizia si è infatti effettuato il doppio passaggio che prevede prima della pulizia la rimozione del vecchio innesco), palle selezionate in peso (124.0 /-0.1 grani).

The effect “selection“ is more than highlit by the parametres calculated by the program TIME, to cite one of them for all, the standard deviation passes the already good 1 % of test1 to the perfect 0.35 % of test2. I would say more than significant.L’effetto “selezione” è più che evidenziato dai parametri calcolati dal programma CRONO, per citarne uno per tutti, la deviazione standard passa dal gia’ buono 1% del test1 all’ottimo 0.35% del test2. Direi più che significativo.

This that has left me perplexed, is as for following:Ciò che mi ha lasciato perplesso, è quanto a seguire:

During the proof I have noticed that systematically the first fired cartridge was giving place with speeds lower of the average, also 50. 60 mt/sec. The shot cadence was of about a blow each three seconds. So evident phenomenon that before firing ten blows of the test, I was overloading an additional cartridge with “preparation of the conditions”. Gathering information, above all on American sites, I have noticed that such a phenomenon turns out to be quite frequent. Also some ricaricatori of long experience it were already to knowledge and for some of them the phenomenon depends on the arrangement of the dust inside the case. In fact the dust does not fill completely the case and it is possible that she is not completely to shelter of the trigger to the loading of the weapon. After the first blow, because of the recoil, the dust goes accumulating instead in closeness of the bottom changing the behaviour of the blows to be followed. Durante la prova ho notato che sistematicamente la prima cartuccia sparata dava luogo a velocità molto più basse della media, anche 50..60 mt/sec. La cadenza di sparo era di circa un colpo ogni tre secondi. Fenomeno così evidente che prima di sparare i dieci colpi del test, caricavo una cartuccia addizionale di “preparazione delle condizioni”. Documentandomi, soprattutto su siti americani, ho notato che tale fenomeno risulta abbastanza frequente. Anche alcuni ricaricatori di lunga esperienza ne erano già a conoscenza e per alcuni di loro il fenomeno dipende dall’assestamento della polvere all’interno del bossolo. Infatti la polvere non riempie totalmente il bossolo ed è possibile che essa non si trovi totalmente a ridosso dell’innesco al caricamento dell’arma. Dopo il primo colpo, a causa del rinculo, la polvere va invece ad accumularsi in prossimità del fondello mutando il comportamento dei colpi a seguire.

I was wanting to know the real characteristics between a short and long OAL, that is to say: what changes with a ball TC with OAL 28,50 and 28,90; up to where is it possible to be pushed between least and maximum OAL?Salve, sono passati un pò di mesi dall’ultima chiacchierata on line e dopo aver raggiunto un ottimo binomio tra ricarica e pistola, anche grazie ai vs.consigli.     the reduction of the OAL, to equality of dose of propellant, determines generally an increase of the pressure of peak and an increase of the speed to the flight of the bullet. On the article: "Prove with Cheddite Granular S” find a graph that illustrates the results of our proof really with munitions in 9×21 to different OAL.la riduzione dell’OAL, a parità di dose di propellente, determina generalmente un incremento della pressione di picco ed un aumento della velocità alla volata del proiettile. Sull’articolo: “Prove con Cheddite Granular S” trovi un grafico che illustra i risultati di una nostra prova proprio con munizioni in 9×21 ad OAL differenti.

    On calibres as 9×21, because of the increase pressorio, the reduction of the OAL must be limited to values not too much outside at the rule.Su calibri come il 9×21, a causa dell’aumento pressorio, la riduzione dell’OAL deve essere limitata a valori non troppo fuori dalla norma.

    Like mechanical aspect, talking about semiautomatic weapons, the OAL is important for a regular passage of the cartridge with the flight of alimentation. Besides, excessive OAL values might be incompatible with the space in the loader or with the length of the chamber of cartridge: or rather missed cameratura because of the interference with the ruling throat (the ball touches prematurely the beginning of the ruling hampering the complete insertion of the cartridge).Come aspetto meccanico, parlando di armi semiautomatiche, l’OAL è importante per un regolare passaggio della cartuccia dalla rampa di alimentazione. Inoltre, eccessivi valori di OAL potrebbero essere incompatibili con lo spazio nel caricatore o con la lunghezza della camera di cartuccia: ossia mancata cameratura a causa dell’interferenza con la gola di rigatura (la palla tocca prematuramente il principio della rigatura impedendo il completo inserimento della cartuccia).

    I allow myself to give an advice to all those who, like me, are aroused passion of weapons, of reloadings and, as a result, they consume many cartridges in week. mi permetto di dare un consiglio a tutti coloro che, come me, sono appassionati di armi, di ricariche e, di conseguenza, consumano molte cartucce a settimana.
    I have started again a short time ago and cannot fire any more than 50-100 cartridges to training, because you will ask me for. Well all I advise to to apply a protection band to the elbow of the arm that fires, easily traceable in pharmacy at the ridiculous cost for 9,00 Euro. Ho ripreso da poco e non posso sparare più di 50-100 cartucce ad allenamento, perchè mi chiederete. Ebbene consiglio a tutti di applicare una fascia di protezione al gomito del braccio che spara, facilmente reperibile in farmacia al ridicolo costo di 9,00 Euro.
    This band lets mitigate in part the traumas of each single blow that in the long run can create annoying problems. Believe me the pain there it is, and is annoying, it misses the strength to hold a glass and as a result not at all pistol. Questa fascia permette di attutire in parte i traumi di ogni singolo colpo che a lungo andare possono creare fastidiosi problemi. Credetemi il dolore c’è, ed è fastidioso, manca la forza per reggere un bicchiere e di conseguenza niente pistola.

    Hello Vincenzo, also I as I have noticed to you the same inconveniences of measurement of the first blow and of the pink one in support. In two cases unfortunately I have not managed to give me a plausible explanation. Personally in the first case I think that the temperature of the cane could influence, and I have solved also the problem firing one more blow.Ciao Vincenzo, anch’io come te ho notato gli stessi inconvenienti di misurazione del primo colpo e della rosata in appoggio. Nei due casi purtroppo non sono riuscito a darmi una spiegazione plausibile . Personalmente nel primo caso ritengo possa influire la temperatura della canna, ed ho risolto anch’io il problema sparando un colpo in più.

Il secondo lo riscontro ogni qual volta utilizzo la posizione bench per regolare le mire metalliche della mia pistola, ad una verifica successiva a due mani in piedi e non in appoggio (tiro lento mirato) rilevo sempre una piccola differenza solo sulla verticalità.
    I must go acting then only on the rear sight, with the satisfactory result of the better pink one. The explanation might be searched in the different pressure of handle of the weapon between two conditions of pulling. Devo dunque andare ad agire solo sull’alzo, con il soddisfacente risultato di una migliore rosata. La spiegazione potrebbe ricercarsi nella differente pressione di impugnatura dell’arma tra le due condizioni di tiro.

    It is several that it is not read. E’parecchio che non ci si legge.
    I have taken another Tanfoglio Limited Custom but in cal.40 S&W. Any table suggests an OAL of 28,80 in TC or FP and 29,20 in RN with balls 180g. Well asking around I have felt of OAL 30,10-30,50. But here will they go to the loader? and then for a question about pressure? Ho preso un’altra Tanfoglio Limited Custom ma in cal.40 S&W. Qualsiasi tabella suggerisce un OAL di 28,80 in TC o FP e 29,20 in RN con palle da 180g. Ebbene chiedendo in giro ho sentito di OAL 30,10 -30,50. Ma ci andranno nel caricatore? e poi per una questione di pressione ?
    Teach me … Eruditemi…
